With high-friction rubber surfaces and a durable core, Bench Cookies are the most exciting, versatile accessory to hit wood shops in years. They keep projects from slipping while routing, sanding, carving and more. They raise up panels for edge work and finishing. They make assembly easier. And they set up in seconds.
Bench Cookies give you the freedom and ability to:
* Rout, sand, cut and carve without using clamps
* Raise up workpieces for easy edge finishing
* Support projects without leaving marks
* Assemble projects on a stable, non-slip base
* Set up quickly for any application
The secret is the Bench Cookie's grippy, non-marring rubber pads. Similar to material on router mats, these pads grab your bench and your workpiece at the same time for rock-solid holds. For best results, use at least four Bench Cookies to stabilize your projects.

You can tell from the price that this is not the choice for industrial-grade users, but it's a decent enough hose for the home woodworker who's using a wet-dry vac or small dust-collection system. We like that it's so flexible, turning corners in a small shop without struggle. And we like that it retracts to a fraction of its extended length, saving lot of space. We wouldn't recommend connection to a larger dust-collection system, though, because the material is not rigid enough to withstand a huge amount of suction. Though we didn't experience any collapse during suction, we think it's possible with a larger machine. Still, it's a nice, sturdy hose for the home woodworker, and the price is right.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste
